Being a Jerome Township Fire Fighter is enjoyable, it builds character and gives you a sense of value and esteem.

You get to help people in a variety of emergency situations where your help is always needed and appreciated.

A few good people are needed, if you are interested in becoming a volunteer fire fighter and meet the criteria below, please feel free to download our Application and Release of Background Information and Criminal History form (PDF document). Then you can print the pages on your personal printer fill them out and mail them to us at the address above.

1. You must live in Jerome Township.
2. You must be 18 years of age or older.
3. You must be willing to take Fire Fighter 1 Training course.
4. You must be willing to become a Medical 1st Responder which includes CPR.
5. You must have a valid drivers license with a favorable record.
6. You must be in good physical condition as determined by a physician
(we provide the exam).
